China Glaze Flying Dragon

Posted by yoshi2560 at 4:48 PM Labels: China Glaze, Glitter, Magenta, neon, Pink, review, Song of the Day, Teal
Happy Day-After-Doomsday! I'm wearing a classic color, one that everyone knows and talks about. But I just had to do it, it was calling to me from my Helmer: "Pick me! Pick me!! I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute!" So I just had to wear it.

Definitely click on the pictures, you can see the teal glitter in the pink. These swatches are all with topcoat, without the topcoat the polish dries to a matte (like most neons do) and I really didn't like it AT ALL, but with topcoat, it's absolutely gorgeous. This is two coats, and it's still a little bit blotchy in some places (thumb, for example) but it was good enough for me, I had to leave pretty quick after I did them.

Keep reading for more pictures and my review!

Pro's:
  • Gorgeous, unique color that you don't see anywhere else
  • You can see the glitter up close but not when you get farther away, it's nice and subtle.
  • It's neon! But dark enough to wear everyday.
  • I can't stop looking at it.
  • Dry time is great!
Con's:
  • Really easy formula, but blotchy application. You have to be careful about dragging the polish when applying the next coat.
  • Dries to a gross matte color.
Flying Dragon gets an A! It's a little more work to apply and keep this polish, but it wears pretty well and  it is gorgeous, and since I can't stop looking at it, it gets a good score. Speaking of scores, I'm done with finals and now I'm just waiting for the results and I finally have time to relax! Some well-needed sleep is in order!!

Song of the Day: Between the Raindrops by Lifehouse (feat. Natasha Bedingfield)
Also, this new CD came out and it's extremely unlike any of Lifehouse's older stuff. It's much more alternative and kind of rock-y. It's incredible, I absolutely LOVE it! Definitely check it out.
