OPI DS Magic

Here's another of the untrieds in my Helmer, and I am SHOCKED that I haven't tried this one before! It is so pretty! That definitely means this post is going to be a little big picture heavy.

Also, the first men's basketball game was yesterday (FINALLY a Buffs win!), as well as BAND PROM! One of my favorite nights of the year and I'm really excited about it, hopefully it is just as fun as last year, especially since I have a date this year! :)

Anyways, here's the polish.  Be sure to read on after the break for more pictures and a review!

In the bottle Magic seems to have a super duochrome that doesn't come across on the nail very well

But the color is still SUPER pretty!

I mean seriously, look at that!

There's a slight duochrome. Nothing like what's in the bottle, but still very pretty.

 So this is two coats of DS Magic. When I put on the first coat I thought "this is going to take a few coats" but I was pleasantly surprised how well the second coat evened it out.  And it applied super smoothly, I didn't have any problems at all. Also I love this color. It takes on different colors in every light, even though you can't really see the duochrome in the pictures that well, it is most definitely there.  It also dries really shiny. I used a topcoat over it, but it honestly doesn't need it if you're planning on wearing them for a short amount of time. I did have to wait longer than usual for them to dry, which wasn't a big deal but definitely a downside of this pretty polish.

Pro's:

• The color. Duh.
• Great formula
• Good opacity (I love anything that takes 2 coats or less!)
• Super shiny!

Con's:

• The incredible duochrome in the bottle is just a tease, it's not that awesome on the nail 
• Takes longer to dry than other OPI polishes I have

Overall, I think we'll give DS Magic an A-! I will definitely be wearing it again, but it's not the best OPI polish I've had. However, I absolutely love the end result.
