Revlon Tape Mani

Alright, here's what I'm wearing right now.  I used Revlon Jelly first, then cut strips of tape (over a completely dry mani, of course) and did Revlon Spice It Up over that.  This is what I came up with!

I am so in love with this one, and I've gotten so many compliments on it! It's really easy, and crazy, but not TOO wackadoo.  Me gusta.

The Avengers

So the best friend sent me a text last week that said "I bet you can't do nails based on The Avengers."

So I said challenge accepted.

From thumb to pinkie, we have Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man.  I'm quite proud of these, and the movie was really incredible. 

Song of the day: The Fighter by the Fray.  The lyrics to this song and the incredible melody have had me obsessed for the past few days.  I can't stop singing it to myself. 

And as soon as the best friend saw my new nails, he gave me another challenge? Want a hint?

I'm pretty excited, let's do this.

Teal stripes

Le boyfriend has been picking my color schemes for the past few weeks now, and he really wanted teal this week, so this is what I came up with:

I used China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise as the base color, and two Nail Art striper brushes for the stripes

None of these pictures are very color-accurate, but this one is probably the closest.  It still comes out too blue and not green enough in this lighting.
